Edie Sedgwick
To say that Edie Sedgwick has influenced me is selling her short. Even before I was into fashion or really even knew who I was yet I had the pleasure to stumbling upon a fantastic (and one of the few) biography of her. I became fascinated by this long legged minx with the bleached hair and over sized eye lashes. Her carefree approach to both life and fashion has influenced me and others for years. With her black tights, fur coats, silver hair, and over-sized earrings Edie's look has been copied time and time again. Her life and death only add to the illusion of mystery and glamour behind those big brown eyes.
