Not only was she on the list, she was put in the "Heros" section along with the likes of Bill Clinton and former Iranian Prime Minister Mir-Hossein Mousavi. With a beautifully written essay by Tom Ford, Liya stands out as one of two people from the fashion industry being recognized (the other being Marc Jacobs).
