Wes Gordon
For my second official Le Laid endorsement I am choosing an up and coming designer named Wes Gordon. Born and raised in Atlanta he moved to London upon high school graduation to study at Central Saint Martins. While on break from school Wes apprenticed at Oscar de la Renta and Tom Ford. This is his first collection debuting for Fall 2010. I just love his designs, you can really see the influence of Oscar and Tom while Wes' own vision is clear and well spoken. His attention to detail and superior tailoring make this clothing an investment that appeals to the older generations. While his use of sequins, fur, and colors will no doubt attract the party girls and fashionistas. Look out for Mr. Gordon, he's going to be huge.
