Jessica Chastain
Valentino Haute Couture
Jessica seems to be so hit and miss when it comes to red carpets. I am very nervous for the Oscars because she can be either very good (see last year's Oscars) or very bad (see the Golden Globes). One thing is for sure, when she turns it out, the turns it out. This Valentino Couture gown is just fashion forward enough to confirm her status as a "fashion girl" but also beautiful enough to appeal to the masses. With her red hair, the icy gray color will certainly pop.
Kerry Washington
Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture
This year has already been a fantastic year for Kerry. While promoting Django Unchained she made a name for herself as one of the most consistently stylish and fashion forward actresses in Hollywood. This gown is made for a true star and I think it would be the perfect cherry on top of an amazing award season and promotional tour for Kerry
Anne Hathaway
Chanel Haute Couture
I know Anne has already worn a white Chanel gown but this gown is my absolute favorite gown produced from the couture collections and I cannot imagine anyone else bringing it to life on the red carpet quite like Anne. She has the figure, height, and confidence to really give this gown justice. Also, since she is pretty much a sure thing to win, she deserves to play princess for a night.
Jennifer Lawrence
Christian Dior Haute Couture
I have little doubt in my mind that Jennifer will be wearing Dior to the Oscars (damn contracts). However, she could be stuck with a worse brand and designer. This gown in fit for a queen and I'm sure will pop against her tan and look stunning while she is up on stage accepting her Oscar.
Amy Adams
Oscar de la Renta
Let's face it, she isn't going to win, I think we all know that. Amy has, however been upping the style stakes recently and this de la Renta gown would just pop with her hair and coloring.
Naomi Watts
Jason Wu
Naomi had potential to be the big winner this season but it seems her momentum was taken by Jennifer Lawrence. They say looking good is the best revenge and with this Jason Wu gown, she would make even the most gorgeous Hollywood stars green with envy. Also, I just pray she stays away from Marchesa, all her dresses from them are starting to look exactly the same.
Amanda Seyfried
Atelier Versace
Amanda is the only one who I feel has the balls to try to pull this look off. Of course it would be altered to be more appropriate for the red carpet, but it's just perfect for a young and up and coming starlet. I imagine her looking like an ice princess frosting that red carpet with this liquid looking gown.
Agreed! Beautiful choices!
