Today the news that Balmain's Christophe Decarnin has resigned as the head designer for the French fashion house Balmain following reports of an alleged mental breakdown. Once known for dressing the who's who of Old Hollywood, the Balmain house became completely revived under Decarnin's reign. His designs were glamourous, edgy, and often split opinions between total love and total disgust. Love him or hate him what designer could dress everyone from Beyonce, to Jennifer Connelly?
